The Chino Hills Trail Run is back on Saturday, November 7 in Brea, CA, and the people out here are the real draw. It's the kind of community where strangers cheer like they've known you for years and everyone feels like family by the finish line. Add in rolling hills, chaparral, oak woodlands and views for days, and you've got a warm, welcoming day on the trails. (Climbs for days too. We'd never lie to you.)

Ribbon TrailFest is back June 11 to 15, 2027, and it's taking you along the Bruce Trail through the Caledon Hills and Dufferin Hi-Lands, starting and finishing at Glen Haffy Conservation Area.
New for 2027:�🌲 New routes, including a 200 Miler made of two out and backs to Kilgorie
�🌲 The Double Knot: 50 miles Saturday, 50K Sunday (yes, both)

🌲 A 200 Mile 4-person relay for you and your favorite enablers
Distances run from a Half Marathon all the way up to 200 miles, so there's a knot for everybody. Want to give back to the trail too? Limited charity bibs support the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

How far can you go before lunch? 🍔🏃‍♀️

The Sri Chinmoy 6-Hour Race returns to Lake Miramar in San Diego on Sunday, November 8.
The setup is simple: a 5-mile loop around the lake, 6 hours on the clock, and as many laps as you want. Run them, walk them, or mix it up. Every lap is chip timed, and in the final 30 minutes, reaching an outpost aid station means that partial lap still counts. 🔁
You'll have 4 aid stations, your own gear area that you pass every lap, and a doctor on site. When it's over, you get a t-shirt, a medal, a Certificate of Achievement, and a hearty post-race lunch. Age group awards are given too, and the race is USATF sanctioned. 🏅
The course bests are 48 miles for the men and 39 miles for the women. Your bar? Whatever you want it to be.

Three San Diego races, three very different ways to spend a weekend on the trails.

🌅 Mission Trails Twilight Runs | May 22, 2027 | Santee, CA�50K, 25K, 5K. Start in the afternoon, catch sunset from the top of the Fortunas, and finish by headlamp. Most people never get to run Mission Trails at night.

🍇 Trails n Vines W**e Run | June 5, 2027 | Escondido, CA�9, 6, and 3 milers plus a Kids Dash. Loop through the vines at Orfila W**ery, then trade your bib for three w**e tastings at the finish (21+). Capped at 300 runners.

🔁 South Bay 24 HR | July 23–24, 2027 | San Diego, CA
24, 12, and 6 hour options, the Hefty Half, and a 2 hour South Bay Social. It's a 1.22 mile loop with runner camping and a pancake breakfast, and every 100 mile finisher earns a buckle.

AND she finished fourth in the 26K. 🤯

Meet 13-year-old Péma Franchi of Ecuador, who took third among women in the Dragon’s Back Ascent at Mammoth TrailFest, then turned around and raced to fourth in the 26K.
Péma grew up on a small farm near Cuenca, a city sitting at 8,400 feet in the heart of the Andes. So yeah, the altitude in Mammoth Lakes? Not her first rodeo. 🏔️
She’s finished top 5 in the Dragon’s Back Ascent every year since she was 11, recently won four uphill mountain races in Switzerland, and speaks four languages (English, French, Spanish and Portuguese).
Your Monday motivation is a 13-year-old who climbs mountains for breakfast. What’s your excuse this week? 😅

AC100 has been running since 1986 and is one of the original five 100 milers in the U.S. It covers 100.8 miles through the San Gabriel Mountains, with about 20,000 feet of climbing, starting and finishing at Loma Alta Park in Altadena.

The first ever Foothills 150 and 75 are coming to the Foothills Trail. Hurricane Helene shut the trail down in 2024, and five years in the making, it's back and ready to run.
The 150 runs the whole trail from Table Rock State Park to Oconee State Park, then turns around and does it again. The 75 runs one way home. Along the way you'll get 14+ waterfalls, lake views, the highest summit in South Carolina, and up to 28,000+ ft of climbing.
