Connection Homeless Shelter We provide emergency and transitional shelter for individuals and families working toward their own permanent housing.

The Connection is North Platte, NE's residence for clients who are working their way back to their own permanent housing. Our facility separately accomodates single men, single women and families with children.

Female, 18, and still in high school when she came to The Connection, facing severe trauma, a history of abuse, and the day-to-day toils of being a high school student working toward graduation.

At The Connection she found support, resources and a safe place to stay, where she was able to finish high school, secure housing and successfully move forward.

She returned to the shelter a couple of weeks ago to check in and is thriving with permanent housing, a stable income, and a strong, healthy relationship.
