Saturday was a very busy day for our North Platte and Kearney bases. We had the pleasure of playing in the Melham Foundation Fundraiser at Broken Bow Golf Club!

We had a blast playing and the course was in great shape! Huge thanks to TriCity LifeNet Kearney, NE for helping field the team.

We ended up placing 1st in the second flight with a 3 under par 69! Our winnings were graciously donated back to the Melham Foundation to be put towards any needs the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Hospital may have! Huge thank you to Melham Medical Center for putting on such a great event! Can’t wait to play next year!

🥎💗 What happens when EMS and law enforcement get together for a softball game?

Apparently… banana ball with a whole lot of shenanigans! 😂

A huge THANK YOU to Broken Bow Ambulance Service Nebraska for inviting us out to play in their softball game against local law enforcement in support of the Pink Patch Project! We had an absolute blast and were so thankful to be included.

This was definitely not your average softball game. Between the dancing, CPR on a “dead ball,” a breathalyzer for the umpire, literally stealing bases, injured players getting hauled away on a stretcher, and plenty of other EMS/law enforcement twists, there was never a dull moment! 🚑🚓🥎😂

We were also lucky enough to have a few of our friends from TriCity LifeNet Kearney, NE join us, and getting to play alongside the Whee Woo Crew made the night even better! 🚁💙

It was an evening full of competition, ridiculousness, teamwork, and A LOT of laughs — all for a great cause. 💗

Thank you again to Broken Bow Ambulance for letting us be part of such a fun event. We’d absolutely do it all over again! 🥎🚑🚓💗

Last Saturday we have the opportunity to hang out with some incredible volunteers from Arnold Volunteer Fire Dept providing standby for the Sandhills Open Road Challenge.

It’s always a great time getting to help during this event! Who doesn’t love watching fast cars and hanging with good friends.

Today is a bittersweet day as we say goodbye to Flight Nurse Gina!

Gina has been an incredible part of the LifeNet North Platte team, bringing dedication, compassion, and so much warmth to everything she did. Whether it was stepping up when things got busy or just sharing a kind word to brighten someone's shift, their impact on our team and our patients has been truly profound.

While we are so sad to see her go, we are also incredibly excited for this next chapter in their journey. She will be staying with the company and you may see her from time to time in North Platte!

Thank you, Gina for everything. You will be deeply missed, but you'll always have a home here with us!

Our LifeNet North Platte and some of our North Central Float team spent the past two days training on NCPAP and our baby pod!

These tools allows us to care for the youngest of patients and provide rapid safe transport to definitive care!

Our crews spend countless hours training and perfecting our clinical skills so the patients we serve are given the best care possible.
