🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE 🚨

Due to the record-breaking heat expected on July 3rd, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Hope Jackson Family Fun Day & Fireworks to Saturday, July 18th.

This decision was not made lightly. The safety of our volunteers, vendors, and the thousands of community members who attend our event is our top priority. With the extreme temperatures forecasted, we believe postponing the event is the safest choice for everyone.

📅 New Date: Saturday, July 18th

📢 Please help us spread the word by sharing this post so we can reach as many people as possible and avoid confusion.

🎆 We still need your help! While the date has changed, our need to fund this year's fireworks display has not. We are still well short of our fundraising goal, and every donation—large or small—helps keep this community tradition alive.

If you've been meaning to donate but haven't had the chance yet, now is a great time. Your generosity helps ensure we can continue bringing this tradition to our community.

Thank you for your understanding, your continued support, and for helping us keep this tradition alive. We look forward to celebrating with everyone on Saturday, July 18th! 🇺🇸🎆

If you are able, please consider making a donation today and help us reach our fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference.

Please share this post to help us spread the word!

11 members responded and operated on the scene for 1.5 hours.

This is the 12th working structure fire we have responded to, both in Scituate and out of Town, this year.

Thanks as always to our friends at the Special Signal Fire Association / Providence Canteen for their assistance as well as the mutual aid Departments that responded for RIT, water supply, and station coverage.

Huge thanks to our friends at Ted's Auto and Rust Repair in Smithfield!! Recently, while repairing some wiring, we discovered some rot that had begun to show itself on the driver side floor board/rocker panel. Ted’s helped us out with repairs, keeping our 1999 F-550 in the game!
