🌿🎧 Have you tried the new Esek Hopkins Park Audio Tour? 🎧🌿

It’s a beautiful June morning to get outside and explore! Take a walk through Esek Hopkins Park and discover the stories behind this special place with our new self-guided audio tour.

📍 Stop at any of the 8 tour locations, scan the QR code, and listen as you learn about the park’s history, natural features, wildlife habitat, and ongoing stewardship efforts.

🌼 While you're there, be sure to visit the native plant and pollinator-friendly garden, now coming to life with summer blooms and busy pollinators. It's a wonderful example of how native plants support local birds, bees, butterflies, and other wildlife.

Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular trail user, the audio tour offers a new way to experience the park and learn more about the land we all enjoy.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Grab a friend, bring your phone, and enjoy a walk through one of Scituate's special places.

House Bill 7222

The bill to protect RI wildlife from the catastrophic effects of anticoagulant rodenticides (ARs) has been passed by the Senate and is now placed on the House floor for a vote on Wednesday, June 3rd. We kindly ask that you reach out to Representative Quattrochi ([email protected]; (401) 764-5143) and support protecting our raptors, other wildlife, and the environment. With the passage of this legislation, Rhode Island can lead by example on stronger wildlife protections and effective rodent management.

💙🐦 A sweet sign of spring at Lawton Farm! 🐦💙

Not the best photo—but an amazing sight: four baby Eastern Bluebird nestled inside one of our bluebird houses at Lawton Farm!

We’re so excited to see new life thriving here 🌿 You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to visit, take a walk, and see what birds you can spot. If you do, share your photos and observations with us—we’d love to see what you find!

As always, please help us protect these little ones: stay on the trails and observe from a distance, especially during nesting season. And remember dogs are not permitted at Lawton during this critical period.

Happy birdwatching! 💙
