Do you know that person who can fix almost anything, stays calm when something breaks, knows when to tackle a project and when to call in a professional, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people and places? We would love an introduction!
Our Facilities Manager is retiring, and we are looking for the right person to fill a very important role at YCC. This person helps care for our main building, emergency shelter, transitional housing apartments, grounds, vehicles, safety systems, and all the little things that keep a busy agency running.
A great candidate might have experience in building maintenance, property management, general repairs, or coordinating contractors. We need someone who is hands-on, organized, dependable, comfortable using a computer, and able to move between planned projects and the occasional “something is leaking” surprise. 🔧
Most importantly, we want someone who understands that this is about more than taking care of buildings. These buildings provide safety, stability, and a fresh start for survivors and families. This work matters, even when no one else sees everything it takes to keep the lights on, the doors secure, and our spaces safe and welcoming.
The position is full-time and pays $46,000 to $52,000 annually and offers full benefits. If someone came to mind while reading this, please tag them, send them our way, or share this post. 💜
