🔥 Middle Fork Fire Update: Crews have made excellent progress and the fire is nearing full containment. Conditions are looking good, and firefighters expect to reach full containment soon. Thank you for your hard work, sacrifice, guidance, and dedication. We hope you have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Father’s Day.

Please be ever so careful in all that you do. Conditions are so dry. Please consider ways you can increase the safety of your outdoor activities. Please teach your children, especially teens and young adults about fire safety and help them understand why now is such a critical time to be cautious. Teach them also through your example.

Please be extra careful right now if you are out recreating. If pulling a trailer, make sure your chain is not dragging. If on ATVs, Side by sides, etc., please stay on trails and out of the dry grass to avoid sparking a fire. If you’re camping, make sure you know if there are fire restrictions in the area. Make sure your campfire is monitored constantly and make sure when finished it is completely out.

Please be careful in all that you do. Conditions are dry and hot, easily susceptible to a wildfire.
