Project Highlight: Custom Challenge Coin Display Boxes

At Oklahoma Correctional Industries, incarcerated individuals at Joseph Harp Correctional Center handcrafted this custom wooden challenge coin display box designed to protect and showcase a firefighter's collection with pride. Featuring a custom-engraved lid and carefully crafted woodwork, each display box is built to celebrate the commitment, legacy, and accomplishments of those who serve their communities.

Oklahoma Correctional Industries helped furnish the new facility with custom office furniture, conference room pieces, and more than 100 cubicles — all manufactured and assembled through inmate work programs across Oklahoma.

Projects like this not only provide quality products and cost savings for agencies, but also help incarcerated individuals develop valuable trade skills, work experience, confidence, and preparation for successful re-entry.

PART 2: BUILT BY OCI

From manufacturing to delivery and installation — this project was a true team effort.

Oklahoma Correctional Industries was proud to furnish the new Cleveland County Sheriff’s building with furniture manufactured by incarcerated men working through OCI programs. Not only did they build the furniture, they also helped deliver and assemble it on-site, gaining valuable hands-on experience in teamwork, logistics, craftsmanship, and professionalism along the way.

Projects like this help prepare individuals for future employment opportunities while providing quality products and services to Oklahoma communities.
