🚑 If you're feeling overwhelmed or confused by the recent changes in Medicaid, 💙WE CAN HELP! 💙

New work requirements for Medicaid went into effect May 1, 2026. 📆 These new rules apply to people enrolled or applying for the Medicaid expansion program - Heritage Health Adult.

If you receive a termination notice or a notice from DHHS that you do not understand, please call Legal Aid of Nebraska or visit us online.

Omaha Community Foundation has awarded us a generous grant for our 2026 Name Change Clinic! 💙

Legal Aid of Nebraska will partner with Omaha ForUs and local volunteer attorneys to host a free legal clinic for name changes, which can improve safety, privacy, and overall well-being for people needing a fresh start. Our clinics help people move into a new phase of their lives with the support and confidence they deserve.

We are grateful for the support of the Omaha Community Foundation and are very proud to partner with them to serve our community!
