Ever wonder what it takes to be a firefighter? Open to the public, come uptown June 20th starting at 12 in the parking lot on Taft Street and see firefighters in action with three different skills, from auto extraction with our friend Dan Staryer from Norwalk, Ohio, along with a great organization for kid seats, Roth ID tags. We also have a ventilation demonstration with Jeff Orphal. The state fire marshal's office will be coming in with a fire behavior trailer to show exactly how firefighters work within a structure. Don't miss this great opportunity.

You’ll notice something new when your drive past station 100!
Ottawa Fire Department was awarded the Safer Grant for recruitment and retention which included the purchase of this new digital sign.
MaxxLite LED Signs was great to work with and worked hard to get this installed and messages put up before our chicken bbq this weekend.
Thank you to County Electric for getting the electric ran to the sign.
Thank you to K&L for helping them pick out brick that looks great with the station.

For this Sunday as we have done the last few years to pick up your dinners please enter from the fourth street end of agner street and utilize both lanes. There will be no south bound traffic from 11th street to 4th street aloud during this time.
