Art & W**e stroll is coming to downtown Oxford on September 12, from 1-5 PM.

Did you know Oxford is hosting its first ever ART AND W**E STROLL next Saturday, September 12 from 1 to 5 PM? 🥳

Downtown restaurants and breweries will be offering strolling w**e specials, and you will find amazing pop-up art exhibits by local artists in more than 10 businesses in town! 🍷🖼️

Meet us in Centennial Park to pick up your maps, join a DIA docent-led walking tour, check out live art demos and participate in our sidewalk chalk competition! 🤩

Spread the word… it’s going to be a fun afternoon of w**e, art and community 💙💛

Next Saturday, September 12, at 11 AM, classic cars will gather at Burdick Street Equipment, located at 43 East Burdick Street and head to Seymour Lake Township Park where vehicles and vintage bicycles will be on display until 2 PM. A cookout begins at 11:30 AM.

Cruisin' Down Seymour is an event organized by Oxford Township Parks & Recreation with proceeds benefitting the Free Meals program based at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ - Oxford, Michigan.

Afterward, take a stroll downtown for the Downtown Oxford - DDA's Art & W**e Stroll, taking place from 1 PM until 5 PM.

DTE expects 65% of those affected by Wednesday and Thursday’s storms to have power restored by the end of today, with 90% expected to be restored by Saturday.

If you’re still without power, you’re welcome in Oxford! Parking is always free, and our businesses are open. Coffee shops, restaurants, and shops are ready to welcome you.

I was just walking around town in the gentle rain, and honestly, it was quite pleasant. Come spend some time downtown, grab a coffee or a meal, and enjoy a little change of scenery while the power gets restored.
