Tomorrow! Draw inspiration from our beautiful Kindleberger Park and its gorgeous Garden, or take the time for your own writing while in company with fellow wordsmiths.

This 30-minute writing session is followed by a short optional time to share your writing. It doesn't matter if you're just getting started or if you've been journaling/publishing/jotting things down for years - we can all use a little time to dedicate to writing, and to talking to others who enjoy doing the same!

If the weather allows, we'll meet outside at the Kindleberger Park Historic Marker behind the Library, but if not, we will meet inside the Library instead, so dress in layers! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your own writing materials.

Such a beautiful day - and such beautiful beginnings! This morning, our three new young trees were planted along the edges of our parking lot, where they will grow to provide shade and beauty for years to come.

Many, many thanks to Arborist Services of Kalamazoo, who gave these three trees their best start at life. The white pine was planted to replace one that was struck by lightning and taken down earlier this summer.

And the biggest thanks go to our generous donor, who saw the need for better shade for our parking lot and the benefits and beauty of growing things, and donated the two red maples. We are so excited to watch as they grow!
