Then there was lunch..."Eat well, learn well, live well."
Middle and High School students started a cultural experiment at lunchtime. What is the best location to eat, and what are the tastiest options? The Pasadena Unified School District supplies free lunch and breakfast to students each day.
Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. on Mondays and starts at 8:00 a.m. from Tuesday through Friday. Middle School lunch occurs at 11:46 a.m., while High School lunch is at 12:49 p.m.

Auditions!!!!!! This includes grades 6th through 12th!
Auditions for "The Play That Goes Wrong, High School Edition" are on Tuesday, August 18th at 3:40 p.m. in B123.
It's comedy, it's a farce, it's a play within a play. Come out and audition; students in ALL grades are welcome! Under the direction of Ms. Alison Garfinkel.

We extend our gratitude to the Cheer Squad and the Drum Corps for warmly welcoming our students and families on Monday morning with great fanfare. It was a fulfilling morning brimming with excitement and anticipation. Thank you to the student-athletes and percussionists for paving the way for another incredible school year.

We celebrated the Eagle Community on the front steps with excitement and cheers on Monday morning. Although this Tuesday morning lacks the gathering of parents, teachers, and staff with coffee and donuts, we still have robust support systems in place within the classrooms, offices, and throughout the campus to ensure a successful school day ahead. With the first day of instruction completed, we now have 179 instructional days left until the school year ends! (Too soon?)

We extend our gratitude to the Thurgood Marshall Community for joining us early on Monday morning to celebrate and support our students and staff as we kicked off the 2026-2027 school year. Special thanks to City Councilmember Rick Cole, Meghetti Derboghossian, the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Upsilon Psi Sigma Chapter, School Board Trustees Patrice Marshall Mckenize and Jennifer Hall Lee, Dr. Shannon Malone, PUSD Senior Director of Principals, Brandy Brown from PUSD Arts, as well as our dedicated parents and staff.

We also appreciate the Marshall PTSA for providing donuts and coffee. We are thankful to the families, community, and students for making the first day of school truly remarkable.
