Today, we pause with humble hearts to give honor where honor is due and to remember the life, legacy and enduring light of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His words and actions breathed life into values we at NAVSUP FLC Pearl Harbor hold close: People, Pride and Professionalism. They remind us that our greatest strength lies in our people, that pride is found in honest work and that professionalism is shown in how we serve one another each day.
As we gather with friends and family, let us also take a quiet moment to reflect. No task is too small, no effort unseen. Each of us contributes to something greater than ourselves; to our community, our mission and our shared ‘Ohana. In unity and with hope, we move forward together, honoring the past while continuing the work before us.
"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well'". -Martin Luther King Jr.

Today, we pause to honor the anniversary of the December 7th attacks on Pearl Harbor, a day that forever changed the course of history.
Working on this hallowed ground is a privilege we never take for granted. Each day, as we see the Pearl Harbor Memorial in our own backyard, we’re reminded not only of the courage and sacrifice shown in 1941, but also of our responsibility to help build pathways to peace for future generations.
The memorial stands as both a tribute to the lives lost and a reminder of the strength that comes from unity, reflection and a commitment to a better world.
Today, and every day, we remember the past while striving to honor it through peace, understanding and purpose.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Today, the NAVSUP FLC Pearl Harbor ʻOhana stands in solemn remembrance of the heroes who were taken as prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action.
Their courage and sacrifice for our nation will never be forgotten.
On this day especially, we reflect deeply on the true cost of freedom. We honor the families who continue to wait for answers and we carry the memory of their loved ones as a powerful reminder that freedom is NEVER free.
Let us continue to honor their legacy with respect, reverence and aloha.
You are not forgotten.

Today, We Remember.
September 11, 2001.
A day that changed us forever.
We remember the innocent lives lost.
We honor the first responders who ran toward danger.
We stand with the families whose hearts still ache.
And we reflect on the unity we found in the face of unthinkable tragedy.
Let us pause, reflect, and remember.
Not just the pain, but the strength, the courage, and the resilience of a nation.
Never Forget.

On this day, September 2, we honor the official end of World War II in 1945.

At NAVSUP FLC Pearl Harbor, this day holds deep meaning. The war that began for the United States with the attack on Pearl Harbor, came full circle with Japan’s formal surrender aboard the USS Missouri, now permanently moored just across the water from where we serve today.
We take this moment to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of our World War II veterans, especially those who served across the Pacific. Their legacy lives on in every Sailor, civilian, and logistician who continues the mission with pride and purpose.
Mahalo nui loa to the Greatest Generation.
We remember. We honor. We serve.

Today, we pause in honor of Purple Heart Day. 🇺🇸
This day serves as a solemn reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of U.S. Service Members who were wounded or gave their lives in combat or while held as prisoners of war. At NAVSUP FLC Pearl Harbor, we are humbled to have team members among us who have been awarded the Purple Heart. While they have chosen to remain anonymous, we take this moment to recognize and deeply honor their courage.

The Purple Heart is our nation’s oldest military award—steeped in history and meaning. Its purple color symbolizes the blood shed in service, and its heart shape reflects the selfless sacrifice of those who wear it. The medal bears the image of General George Washington, honoring the legacy of all who have fought for freedom since our earliest days.

To our Purple Heart recipients—known and unknown—we thank you. Your strength, resilience, and dedication inspire us all. 💜

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from NAVSUP FLC Pearl Harbor! 🇺🇸
As we celebrate this 4th of July across our beautiful Hawaiian shores, we honor 250 years of the United States Navy—a legacy built on courage, service, and aloha. Here at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor, we stand proud to serve at the crossroads of the Pacific. From canoe to carrier, Hawaii has long been a center of ocean voyaging and strength. Today, we carry on that tradition by supporting the fleet and fueling readiness across the region and beyond. Mahalo to all who have served, past and present. This Independence Day, we reflect with pride, we celebrate with gratitude, and we look ahead with purpose.
