Taylor County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Taylor County (DOH-Taylor) recognizes June 6 of each year as Revive Awareness and invites the public to attend this year’s event on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Revive Awareness Day raises awareness about the importance of overdose prevention, education, and access to lifesaving resources. DOH-Taylor invites the community to join us in raising awareness about overdose prevention and saving lives. Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose and help save a life. Learn the signs of overdose and how you can help protect your family, friends, and community. Stay in your vehicle and drive thru to receive education and resources specific to Revive Awareness Day!

Taylor County, Fla.— All Florida Department of Health offices in Taylor County (DOH-Taylor) will close on Monday, May 25, 2026, in honor of Memorial Day.

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. DOH-Taylor reminds residents and visitors to celebrate safely over the holiday weekend.

Stroke is a medical emergency. Acting FAST can save a life and reduce long-term disability.

B – Balance: Sudden loss of balance or coordination
E – Eyes: Sudden trouble seeing
F – Face: Face drooping on one side
A – Arms: Arm weakness or numbness
S – Speech: Slurred speech or difficulty speaking
T – Time: Time to call 911 immediately

Every minute counts. Don’t wait — know the signs and act FAST.
