🎬 Tonight is the night for our “Reel Classic” Movie Night at the library!

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and we’ve got a cinematic showdown on our hands! Our community vote ended in a dead tie between two unforgettable classics:

🕯️ One is a 1944 psychological thriller that gave us the term “gaslighting.”

☢️ The other is strange indeed—a 1964 absurdist satire of Cold War paranoia and nuclear brinkmanship.

Since the voting was so close, we’ll have both options ready to go and hold a runoff vote when viewers arrive! 🍿

📚 It’s not too late to pick a book and join next week’s Themed Read Book Club!

This month’s theme is “a book set in Massachusetts.” Choose any title that fits our theme and come ready to share your thoughts with fellow readers.

Need a book? Stop by the library to browse our curated display, check out an audiobook or e-book on the Libby app, or pull something from your own bookshelf!

Led by Library Director Hedda Monaghan, the "Themed Reads" monthly book club is inspired by the Massachusetts Center for the Book’s annual adult reading challenge.
