Early Release Fridays may mean a shorter day for our students, but they are incredibly valuable time for our teachers and teams! 💙🐾

These Friday afternoons give our staff dedicated time to come together, continue learning and growing, collaborate as teams, and dig into student data to determine how we can best support every Bobcat.

This time is an important part of our commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring success for ALL. We are grateful for a staff that continues to learn, reflect, and work together to do what is best for kids!

CURRICULUM NIGHT IS COMING! 💙📚

Bobcat families, mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 19! We are excited to welcome you to campus for an evening focused on partnering together for student success!

GRADES K–6 | 4:30–5:30 PM
Two identical sessions will be offered:
⭐ Session 1: 4:30–5:00
⭐ Session 2: 5:00–5:30

The two-session format allows families with multiple Bobcats to visit more than one classroom!

GRADES 7–8 | 5:00–6:30 PM
Families will follow their student's schedule, rotating through each core class and choosing one special/elective to visit.

Specials teachers, Special Education Service Coordinators, Reading Specialists, and ELL staff will also be available during designated times.

Curriculum Night is a wonderful opportunity to meet our teachers, learn about classroom expectations and curriculum, and discover how we can work together to make this an incredible year for every Bobcat!

Our amazing Copy Moms were in action today and were a HUGE help! 🙌 We are so grateful for our volunteers who help prepare classroom copies so our teachers can spend more time doing what they do best—teaching and supporting our Bobcats! 💙

We had a special visitor on the first day of school to highlight DVUSD students (former SF students) turning into DVUSD educators right here at SF! We were lucky to have these two as part of our team!

On Monday, dozens of Valley districts went back to school for the 2026-2027 school year, but for two new Deer Valley educators, this year is especially exciting.

What a great Opening Day at SF! ⚾️💙

Today marked the start of a brand-new season, and what a way to begin! Classrooms were filled with smiles, routines and procedures were introduced, relationships began to grow, and learning was already underway.

Every championship season starts with a strong foundation, and today our Bobcats took the first step toward A Season of Success. We can’t wait to see all that’s ahead.

Our new SF PTSA Board is dreaming BIG for our campus and our Bobcats! 💙🐾

They kicked off the year by treating our staff to an amazing taco bar, sharing heartfelt handwritten notes, and already working hard to grow our PTSA membership.

⚾️ The season is officially underway! 💙🐾

What a fantastic Meet the Teacher Night! It was so much fun welcoming our Bobcats back, meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and seeing our classrooms come to life.

Thank you to our amazing staff and families for making tonight so special. We can’t wait to see our Bobcats on the first day of school!
