What an incredible few days our STMS group has had in Japan! 🇯🇵

From exploring the historic streets of Kamakura to taking in the breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji in Fujikawaguchiko and Hakone, this trip continues to create unforgettable memories. Highlights included visiting the Great Buddha of Kamakura, Hachimangu Shrine, Enoshima Island, a traditional hotel stay near Mt. Fuji, the Hakone Open Air Museum, a gondola ride up Mount Komagatake, and exploring Odawara Castle.

To top it all off, we experienced our very first bullet train ride on the way to Kyoto! 🚄

The learning, culture, and experiences have been amazing so far, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Stay tuned!

Our STMS crew of 43 arrived in Japan a few days ago, and what an incredible adventure it has already been! 🇯🇵

So far, we’ve explored some amazing places including Sensō-ji, Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, Akihabara, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, and Shibuya and we wrapped it all up with an unforgettable night of karaoke! 🎤

The students have been fantastic, and it’s been amazing watching them experience the culture, history, food, and energy of Japan together. Next up: Kamakura and Hakone! Stay tuned for more memories from our journey!

What a way to end the school year, Stingers! 🦂💚🖤🤍

The last quarter at Sonoran Trails was packed with so many incredible moments that it was hard to keep up with posting them all! From our 6th Grade Science Field Trip, final three First Friday Assemblies, Science Night, PALS Spring Fling, Mental Health Awareness Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, the 8th Grade Panoramic Picture, Student of the Month Ice Cream Celebrations, Principal and Assistant Principal Appreciation, Future Stinger Dance, our last Band Concert on the patio, and our beautiful 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, we had so much to celebrate.

This quarter was full of student accomplishments, school spirit, community connections, and memories that reminded us what makes STMS such a special place. We are so proud of our students, thankful for our families, and grateful for our amazing staff who helped make each event possible.

To our 8th graders, congratulations again on your promotion! We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will do in high school. Once a Stinger, always a Stinger.
