For someone experiencing homelessness, finding housing can be incredibly difficult.
And not having identification can make that process even harder.

In fact, 63% of our clients say they need an ID specifically to find housing β€” a reminder of just how closely identification is tied to stability and shelter.

An ID may be needed to complete an application, verify identity, sign a lease, access services, or take other steps toward stable housing.

We’re thrilled to once again serve the Tucson community at our next Homeless ID Project Connection this Friday, August 21, from 10 AM–2 PM at Woods Memorial Library!

Our first Tucson Connection last month was a tremendous success β€” we provided more than 80 state IDs and birth certificates to community members who needed them. πŸ’™

This Friday, we’ll be back to help even more people obtain the identification documents they need to take their next step toward employment, housing, stability, and opportunity.
