We’re excited to support The Big Glow Up, hosted by our Board Chair, Desirae Outcalt, and BBritt Concierge Mobile Medicine, for an evening dedicated to wellness, self-care, and supporting life-changing mentorship in our community.

For the fifth year of our partnership, Macy's and Big Brothers Big Sisters are teaming up this back-to-school season to empower youth through mentorship and help every student start the year with confidence and connection.

As part of this partnership, Macy’s at Scottsdale Fashion Square hosted an exclusive Christmas in July shopping experience for Big Brothers Big Sisters families. Families had the opportunity to shop first and enjoy discounted Black Friday items, including clothing and toys for youth.

We are incredibly grateful to Macy’s for creating this special experience for the families we serve and continuing to invest in the success and well-being of local youth.

And the partnership continues beyond this event. From July 14 through August 31, you can shop and give back to help ensure every student starts the school year with confidence and connection.

The Starting 5: Five People Can Change a Community!
Five People. One Purpose. Lasting Impact.
What if the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers was waiting on just five people?

Today, more than 200 young people across Arizona are waiting to be matched with a mentor. While the need may seem large, the solution often starts small.

The Starting 5 Campaign challenges businesses, community groups, faith organizations, sports teams, professional associations, and groups of friends to come together and commit to mentoring.

Just five people can help launch or sustain a mentoring site. Five people can help ensure young people have access to caring adults. Five people can help create opportunities that may change the trajectory of a child's life.

Participants can choose the mentoring experience that works best for them through Site Based Mentoring, Community Based Mentoring, or volunteer engagement opportunities that introduce them to the power of mentorship.

The impact extends far beyond the young people we serve. Organizations that participate report stronger employee engagement, leadership development opportunities, increased community visibility, and a deeper connection to the neighborhoods they serve.

Every child deserves someone in their corner. Every community deserves young people who believe in their future.

The question is simple.
