We reserve the right to remove any posts containing the following:
• Profanity & Inappropriate Language: Obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, profane, libelous, or defamatory language.
• Harassment & Hate Speech: Abusive or inappropriate statements, including but not limited to remarks
that are racist, sexist, homophobic, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Personal Attacks: Comments that negatively target or defame specific students, staff members, or community members. Naming individuals in a negative way is not permitted.
• Privacy Violations: Posting confidential or private information about students or staff without permission of the individual with authority to consent.
• Off-Topic Comments: Content that is irrelevant to the original post.
• Spam & Solicitation: Advertising commercial products/services or repeatedly posting the same comment (trolling).
• Illegal or Harmful Content: Posts that break the law, encourage others to do so, or promote violence or questionable activities.
• Political Campaigning: Endorsing or opposing political candidates or ballot measures.
• Copyright Infringement: Content that violates copyright or fair use laws. Please reference the original source when discussing someone else's work. Users who violate this policy may be blocked from the page. What happens if my comment is flagged as inappropriate? If Cartwright deletes your comment or notifies you that you are blocked from posting, you may appeal this decision through Governing Board Policy KE and its complaint process. The decision to delete a comment or block a commenter will be made according to the rules above and may be appealed under these rules. The first step of the appeal is for the administration to review the comment and the decision. Complainants unsatisfied with the administration's decision may appeal to the Board. Our Commitment
