Ingleside Middle School is celebrating National Forensics Week with hands-on learning that puts students in the role of investigators! 🔎

From creating vocabulary board games and tackling logic puzzles at the start of class to exploring weekly current events through primary sources and working through Crime Scene boxes, Ingleside students are building skills that go far beyond the classroom.

The forensics program gives students opportunities to explore the craft and science of investigation, practice real-world problem-solving, build confidence and apply investigative thinking, all before they even reach high school.

It’s learning by doing, and Ingleside students are putting their skills to work!

✅✏️ We are halfway through first quarter! It was a packed week. Clubs began (including student-favorite gaming club) and our student government elections happened! We celebrate everyone who ran and stepped up to help campaigns. Our elected group appeared on INN Friday to introduce themselves.
And teachers like to show off their ASU pride for college shirt Wednesday! Don’t forget to wear a college shirt. 📚

We honored the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and always keep the solemn duty of teaching the next generation to never forget.

Ingleside has been showing off our future leaders!
📚Last Friday, AVID students made a special visit to Arcadia High School to learn about college and career pathways. They listened to talks from teachers and students about opportunities at school!

As the first week of school comes to a close, we’re recognizing an incredible milestone in the Scottsdale Unified School District community! 🎉

Roni Scholz has dedicated 50 years to SUSD, serving students and families at multiple schools throughout her remarkable career. Today, she continues to make a difference at Ingleside Middle School.

Five decades of dedication, connection and commitment have made an impact on countless students and communities. Roni’s story is a powerful reminder of the lasting difference educators make, not just in the classroom, but in the lives of the students they serve.

Last week Ingleside 7th graders had a blast .aquarium, learning about marine animals and ecosystems.
Students had hands-on learning with amazing creatures for the whole day! Thank you to our parent chaperones and 7th graders science teachers Mr. Cermack and Mrs. Hain for leading!
