Storytime is back!

This lively interactive storytime is filled with stories, songs, rhymes, movement and play for children from 18 months to age five and their favorite adult. Just drop in! There is no registration and you do not have to attend all sessions.

*Note: There will be no storytime on June 30. The gym is not open in the summer due to heat concerns.

Get ready for a summer full of reading, creativity, and fun because the Green Tree Public Library Summer Reading Challenge has officially begun! Stop in at the library's front desk at any point over the summer to register. Readers of all ages are invited to participate—from babies and preschoolers to elementary students, teens, and adults.

Each participant will receive an interactive gameboard with instructions. Complete creative challenges, track your reading, visit the library, and earn prizes along the way. It’s a fun and flexible way to stay engaged and make reading part of your summer routine. Be sure to complete your challenges and turn in your gameboard by Saturday, August 8.

Ready to declutter your craft stash or discover something new? Join us for a community Craft Supply Swap! Drop off your usable art and craft supplies at the library Monday, June 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please limit donations to one box or bag per person. Browse the selection and take home items that inspire you. No donation required to participate! The swap table will be located in the back of the children’s area, and the library will be adding craft supplies to the mix as well. This is a great chance to clear out your crafting space, try a new hobby, or find materials for your next project. Open to all ages. No registration needed; just stop by anytime during the event!

Please note: Any unclaimed items at the end of the event will become property of the library and may be used, donated, or disposed of at our discretion.

We’ll turn down the lights and turn up the fun as bingo cards glow under blacklights, creating a colorful and magical game experience. Along the way, kids will receive fun fluorescent goodies and have the chance to win some awesome prizes. Don’t miss this bright and playful twist on a classic game! Open to kids ages 6-12.
