Storytime is back!

Join us next Tuesday, September 8 at 10:30 AM for the return of our lively, interactive storytime!

Storytime is filled with stories, songs, rhymes, movement, and play for children ages 18 months–5 years and their favorite grown-up.

And the fun doesn’t stop when storytime ends! Afterward, children can head down to our gymnasium for some extra playtime.

Favorite book characters like Pete the Cat, Ada Twist, Dog Man, and more are hiding throughout the library. Search the bookshelves, reading nooks, and cozy corners to find them all!

Bring your junk journal and come hang! The library will have supplies available to use, and you’re welcome to bring your own - extras for swapping are always a plus. This is a laid-back, no-pressure meetup (not a class), so there’s no formal instruction - just a cozy space to create, vibe, and connect with fellow journal lovers at your own pace. Attendees will each receive a goodie bag!

Free and open to ages 16 and up. Space is limited and registration is required. Beginners welcome!

Grab the family and take a stroll through our Someone Builds a Dream StoryWalk set up in the Municipal Center Park behind the library. A StoryWalk® places pages from a children’s picture book along a walking path so that children and their caregivers may enjoy nature and reading together.
