Did you know the Central Maine Hurricanes American Legion Baseball Senior and Junior teams have players from Lawrence, MCI, Messalonskee, Nokomis, Waterville and Winslow.

These 36 young baseball players are willing to put aside some time from their summer break to concentrate on baseball. Between enjoying time off from school, working a summer job and playing baseball, they quickly learn how to manage time and how to be productive young adults in their community.

The team plays home games at Colby College in Waterville.

Check out their schedules in the links below and come out and support these young players!

The parade this morning is still on! If you are in the parade, we are meeting at the Puritan parking lot on Main St. at 10:00 am. The parade starts at 11:00am. We will not be doing the flag retirement ceremony or food after the parade at Manson Park. However, there will be food after the parade at the Elks free for Veterans and a minimal cost to the public. Come join us as we remember those who gave all so that we have the privilege to march in the rain!
