CITY OF CHUBBUCK – SIGNAL MAINTENANCE – YELLOWSTONE AVE & BRENEMAN STREET
The traffic signal cabinet at the intersection of Yellowstone Avenue and Breneman Street near Walmart will be replaced during the week of August 17, 2026, potentially on Wednesday or Thursday, weather permitting. During the work, motorists should treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Please contact the City of Chubbuck at (208) 237-2430 with any questions or concerns.

MILLING AND PAVING
The Street Services crew will be milling and paving the streets listed in the schedule below. There will be intermittent lane closures while work is being performed, with restricted access to residents. No parking will be allowed on these streets from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or until work is completed. Vehicles parked on the street will be towed to the nearest side street. Residents are asked to clear the road in front of their house of any obstructions (i.e. basketball hoops, garbage containers, etc.) The schedule may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or breakdowns. The Water Department will continue working on the water mainline replacement project on Gray Avenue and Howard Avenue between West Alameda Road and West Eldredge Road. Work hours are between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. During the project, access to the construction area will be restricted, and sections of the street may be closed while workers are digging. Every effort will be made to provide local access to the area when possible. Restricted parking will be in place during construction. Crews will be jetting and cleaning sewer mainlines throughout the City. In addition, Water Pollution Control (WPC) will be raising manholes on Satterfield Drive, Riverside Drive, and Coronado Court. IDAHO MATERIAL – WATER SERVICE - ISU PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT BUILDING – 777 MEMORIAL DRIVE
East Carter Street between South 11th Avenue and East Oak Avenue will be closed Monday, August 10, 2026, through Friday, August 21, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for the installation of a new water main serving the ISU Physician Assistant Building. Motorists are advised to use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and use alternate routes when possible.

KNIFE RIVER – ROAD WORK - HILINE (JEFFERSON AVE)
Hiline Road (Jefferson Avenue) between East Griffith Road and Pearl Street will be closed Monday, August 10, 2026, through Monday, August 24, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for road base work. Motorists are advised to use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and use alternate routes when possible.

STATON COMPANIES – THE MONARCH BUILDING - 244 WEST CENTER STREET
The Monarch Building, a historic brick structure at 244 W Center Street in Pocatello’s Downtown Historic District, is set to be demolished this summer. Closure of Center Street between Main Street and Union Pacific Avenue, and Union Pacific Avenue between Clark Street and Center Street for construction staging and access to demolish the building will begin on June 1, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of August 15, 2026. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for workers and equipment in the area.

PORTNEUF RIVER BRIDGE PROJECT – WEST BENTON STREET
The City of Pocatello is continuing construction on the Portneuf River Bridge on West Benton Street, which began in mid-April. This project includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new structure designed to improve safety and increase load capacity. In addition to bridge replacement, the project includes reconstruction of roadway approaches, coordination and relocation of select utilities, and other related improvements. Construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of September, weather and other unforeseen conditions permitting. Please be advised that a temporary road closure will be necessary to facilitate completion of the bridge replacement. West Benton Street will be closed between South Hayes Avenue and South Grant Avenue. We encourage all travelers to exercise caution and consider utilizing alternate routes in the area. The traffic signal cabinet at the intersection of Yellowstone Avenue and Pole Line Road will be replaced beginning at 2:00 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. During the replacement, the traffic signal will be dark, and temporary stop signs will be installed. Motorists should treat the intersection as a four-way stop until the signal is restored. The signal is expected to be operating in red flash mode by approximately 6:00 AM. While the signal is flashing red, motorists should continue treating the intersection as a four-way stop until the signal has been fully restored to normal operation.

SEWER MAINLINE MAINTENANCE
Crews will be jetting and cleaning sewer mainlines throughout the City. In addition, Water Pollution Control (WPC) will be raising manholes on Satterfield Drive, Riverside Drive, and Coronado Court. Motorists may experience delays or lane closures while crews are performing this work. Please use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and use alternate routes when possible.

IDAHO MATERIAL – WATER MAIN - ISU PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT BUILDING – 777 MEMORIAL DRIVE
East Carter Street between South 11th Avenue and East Oak Avenue will be closed Monday, August 10, 2026, through Friday, August 21, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for the installation of a new water main serving the ISU Physician Assistant Building. Motorists are advised to use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and use alternate routes when possible.

KNIFE RIVER – ROAD WORK - HILINE (JEFFERSON AVE)
Hiline Road (Jefferson Avenue) between East Griffith Road and Pearl Street will be closed Monday, August 10, 2026, through Monday, August 24, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for road base work. Motorists are advised to use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and use alternate routes when possible.

SANTICO EXCAVATION – SEWER LINE – 237 RAVINE DRIVE
Ravine Drive between Foothill Boulevard and Riverside Drive will be closed Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for sewer line work. Motorists are advised to use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and use alternate routes when possible.

STATON COMPANIES – THE MONARCH BUILDING - 244 WEST CENTER STREET
The Monarch Building, a historic brick structure at 244 W Center Street in Pocatello’s Downtown Historic District, is set to be demolished this summer. Closure of Center Street between Main Street and Union Pacific Avenue, and Union Pacific Avenue between Clark Street and Center Street for construction staging and access to demolish the building will begin on June 1, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of August 15, 2026. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for workers and equipment in the area.

PORTNEUF RIVER BRIDGE PROJECT – WEST BENTON STREET
The City of Pocatello is continuing construction on the Portneuf River Bridge on West Benton Street, which began in mid-April. This project includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new structure designed to improve safety and increase load capacity. In addition to bridge replacement, the project includes reconstruction of roadway approaches, coordination and relocation of select utilities, and other related improvements. Construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of September, weather and other unforeseen conditions permitting. Please be advised that a temporary road closure will be necessary to facilitate completion of the bridge replacement. West Benton Street will be closed between South Hayes Avenue and South Grant Avenue. We encourage all travelers to exercise caution and consider utilizing alternate routes in the area. CURBSIDE CRAVINGS – HISTORIC DOWNTOWN POCATELLO – LOOKOUT POINT
The Curbside Cravings food truck event will continue to be held at Lookout Point, 426 West Lewis Street in Pocatello, every Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM through September 21, 2026. PORTNEUF VALLEY FARMERS MARKET – HISTORIC DOWNTOWN POCATELLO – LOOKOUT POINT
The 2026 season of the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will continue to be held every Saturday through October 31, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Historic Downtown Pocatello at Lookout Point. South Garfield Avenue between Center Street and West Lewis Street will be closed from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Expect increased pedestrian traffic and vehicle delays in the area.
