With summer coming to a close and schools starting, The Portland Community Food Bank could use food donations, specifically dry pasta noodles, canned vegetables and canned meat. Thank you for your consideration.

The Hot Dog Picnic that is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, 7/16/26 at the Methodist Church is going to be postponed due to the high heat and air quality. The Food Bank will be open.

Reminder that the Portland Food Bank will be closed on Monday, May 25,2026 to observe Memorial Day. We will resume our normal hours on Thursday, May 28,2026.

For over 30 years, letter carriers have proudly led the largest one-day food drive in America—and this year’s drive is just ONE WEEK away! On May 9, simply leave a bag of nonperishable food donations by your mailbox, and your letter carrier will take care of the rest. All donations stay right here in your community. Together, we can !
