SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY!
Our 4th graders are diving into a reading unit that discusses the importance of building local community. The teachers have worked hard to bring this lesson to life and truly show students the impact they can have by creating a Food/Toy drive for our local animal shelter. While you are out doing weekend grocery shopping, if you are able take a moment to pick up some pet items to drop off at the school in order to support our students AND the community. Who doesn’t love making sweet animals happy?

SOLD OUT!
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets to attend the Compton Night at McEachern this evening. We are sad to say that tickets are officially sold out. Due to the construction at the stadium, the seating was very limited. If you were not able to repurchase your ticket, you will not be able to enter the stadium. Thank you again for all of the support! If you weren’t able to purchase tickets for tonight, we hope to see you at Compton Night next year! 💙

Ms. Chastain lead our Kindergarten teachers in a Foundation Stations Professional Learning opportunity 🙌🏼 These stations help to support students with phonological awareness, concepts of print, handwriting, fluency, and phonics. We are so excited to announce that we are officially opening the first ever Compton Cub Spirit Store brought to you by the Compton Elementary Foundation! The school store will have all kinds of Compton Cub merch that students and families can purchase 🐾 All items will be on sale for the first time during BINGO night tomorrow starting at 6pm. First come first serve. But don’t worry, if we run out of the items you want, you can preorder for the next round 🙌🏼 We are so excited to see all of you representing Compton with your new gear 💙
