The Board of County Commissioners meet on Tuesday of each week beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Chesapeake Hearing Room located on the main floor of the County Administration Building, located at 150 Main St. Evening meetings are scheduled when necessary. All regular or special meetings are open to the public. The Commissioners also meet in Executive Session, as allowed by law. Honor the past and enjoy the present with Calvert 250 events happening throughout the county. The 250th anniversary of the United States offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while planning your next visit to Calvert County. In 2026, the Calvert 250 committee will lead an inclusive, yearlong statewide celebration and commemoration.

📍Exhibit at Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons; museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Community Mural Celebrating Calvert County's Story

A Scrapbook Journey: The Heroes of the Twin Beaches
📍Exhibit at the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum; museum is open daily 1-4 p.m.

America's 250 Anniversary: Featured Items and Exhibits
📍Exhibit at the Bayside History Museum in North Beach; museum is open Wed-Fri 9 a.m. to noon and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The museum also hosts an exhibit table at the Saturday morning farmers market in North Beach every week.
