The 250th anniversary of the United States offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while planning your next visit to Calvert County. In 2026, the Calvert 250 committee will lead an inclusive, yearlong statewide celebration and commemoration.

📍Exhibit at Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons; museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

America's 250 Anniversary: Featured Items and Exhibits
📍Exhibit at the Bayside History Museum in North Beach; museum is open Wed-Fri 9 a.m. to noon and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The museum also hosts an exhibit table at the Saturday morning farmers market in North Beach every week.
