☀️📚 Our library walking visits continued this month as we welcomed students from the Early Learning Center and Kindergarten Academy!

Students enjoyed exploring the library, listening to an interactive read-aloud with sound effects, and building and creating during hands-on STEM activities.

These visits help introduce young learners to their public library while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading. We always enjoy welcoming our visiting classes!

💛 Special Thanks to Local Author Rob Martin! 💛

A special thank you to local author Rob Martin for his generous support of the Prospect Park Free Library during our first year participating in Delco Gives.

Rob’s contribution helped the library exceed our fundraising goal, and we are incredibly grateful for his support and encouragement.

Rob is the author of "Walking to Happiness in Prospect Park," a book that shares memories of growing up in Prospect Park — including how the Prospect Park Library brought him happiness as a child.

His book is available to check out at the library!

Thank you, Rob, for supporting libraries, literacy, and our community 💛

💛 THANK YOU! 💛

Thanks to the incredible support we received, the Prospect Park Free Library raised over $2,400 with more than 50 donors during our first year participating in Delco Gives!

Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helped make this campaign a success and helped us qualify for additional bonus funding through Delco Gives.

We are truly grateful to everyone who supported the library and helped us continue our mission of
“Keeping Our Children Reading” 💛

Thank you for believing in the importance of libraries! 💛
