🎨🫟Calling all local artists! Celebrate America Recycles Day with the Library and Public Works on November 12!

Join us for a vibrant community showcase celebrating creativity, sustainability, and the art of reusing everyday items. Register to display your original artwork made from recycled or repurposed materials or simply stop by to explore the exhibit and discover creative ways to give old items a new life.

Enjoy a kids’ craft activity, light bites, and plenty of imaginative ideas for all ages. As a special thank-you, participating artists will be entered into a prize drawing! Exhibitor space is limited, so be sure to register early!

Cuddles & Tales is a story time geared toward our youngest patrons. Caregivers will sit with their baby on the floor as they are led in fun songs, finger plays, stories, and interactive activities that will introduce early literacy skills. Please be sure your babies feet are covered with booties or shoes. Library membership required to obtain tickets. Tickets will be available 30 minutes before the event. Space is limited.

Reminder! Join us tomorrow for a fun and friendly kickoff party for our disABILITY Social! If you or someone you know is an adult (18+) with autism and/or an intellectual disability, we’d love to welcome you into our space to meet new friends. We’ll have snacks, play engaging games to spark conversations, foster independence, and build social skills. You’ll also learn about the exciting events we have planned for the fall and spring, and help decide what other fun activities and outings we should add to the calendar. Come be part of shaping a great year of connection and community in a safe, supportive environment!
