NOTICE TO VISITORS AND RESIDENTS:

Starting this weekend, the Put-in-Bay Police Department will be strictly enforcing Ohio Law and Village Ordinances for offense including:

• Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in Public and in Motor Vehicles
• Use of Cannabis in Public and in Motor Vehicles
• Disorderly Conduct
• Overloaded Golf Cart
• Unsafe, Reckless, and Impaired Driving

If you violate Ohio Law or Village Ordinances, expect a citation.

The members of the Put-in-Bay Police Department extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sgt. Scott Ries, the other Rittman officers injured by gunfire, and the mother and her 13-year-old daughter murdered by the suspect.
