Raytown Summer Lunch Ministry Feeding Raytown children Our goal this year is 500 lunches each day.

The mission of the Raytown Summer Lunch Ministry is to share the love of Jesus by providing nutritious and appetizing sack lunches and milk to low-income school age children during the summer months when they are not in school and receiving school lunches.Last summer, the ministry supplemented summer school meals by delivering sack lunches and milk to 450 students Monday through Friday when summer school ended.

Another year of Raytown Summer Lunch Ministry has come to a close. We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers and the financial and in-kind support from donors, businesses, organizations and grants. THANK YOU to all of our supporters! Our final statistics for the summer of 2026 are below.

Together, we filled 1642 bags with groceries for 6707 family members, 3848 of which were children. Included in these bags were 31,616 servings of food.
