2Husband 2Takeover! I cracked the socials again!!! On this weeks episode of this is neat and dangerous is K**b & Tube wiring. Back in the day instead of friendly that we all love now, they basically ran just plain 'ol wire through buildings, if it had to make a turn, they wrapped it around an insulating "k**b" and if it ran through studs it had to go through an insulating "tube." Firefighter husband recognizes that this 1) causes a lot of fires since it isn't supposed to touch anything it wasn't meant to touch, and 2) If you touch any part of this, it will gladly share electricity with you.

Needless to say, it's all new now.

Hi everyone!

This move and expansion has been a big undertaking—definitely more than we expected. Downtown Redmond is such a special place with so much history… and as many local business owners know, that history can come with a few construction surprises along the way.

Our building team has been amazing, working through each challenge and keeping things moving forward. And now… we’re on the home stretch! 🙌

It’s really starting to come together, and we’re getting so close to move-in. Our goal is to open the doors for playtime and parties as soon as possible, with the coffee bar and BrightBug shop following shortly after. ☕✨

✨ We’re officially aiming for an April opening, with a specific date coming soon! ✨

Thank you so much for your patience and support—it truly means the world to us. This community has been incredible, and we can’t wait to welcome you into the new space very soon. 💛

HUSBAND TAKEOVER!!! I figured out the social media, so I'm posting construction things that I thought were neat but also very responsible for the delays in us opening. FUN FACT: They make a tiny excavator that is electric and fits inside, I know it's on this dad's Christmas list! We got to pull up 100 year old dirt, find 100 year old trash, and replace what seemed like 100 year old drain pipes. Stay tuned for more as long as I don't get in trouble!

Thank you for being so patient with us during construction. We’re getting closer every day, and we’re so excited to share what’s coming next. Little Bug is projected to open in February 2026, with BrightBug most likely opening even sooner ✨ We can’t wait to welcome you in and start making memories together.
