Summer break is officially HERE! ☀️🎉
Last night, we had an amazing time at Roanoke City DSS celebrating the last day of school and kicking off summer the right way! From games and music to laughs, jokes, and nonstop good vibes, the youth had a night full of fun and memories with friends.

Last night at Girl Talk was all about mental health, self-care, and good vibes 💖✨

The girls came out for a relaxing spa night where they soaked their feet with bath bombs, painted their nails, and learned how to make homemade sugar scrub using just sugar and olive oil! They were already planning to add essential oils when they got home 🫶🏽

We wrapped up the night with a few competitive games of Uno while having real conversations about self-care, burnout, and protecting your peace. The girls opened up, supported each other, and created such a safe and positive space. It was the perfect mix of fun, connection, and relaxation 💕

Last night, RVA Financial pulled up and brought the budgeting gems 💸✨
Youth learned all about budgeting, the difference between needs vs. wants, and different ways to manage money — from simple pen-and-paper methods to fancy spreadsheets! The conversations in the room were thoughtful, real, and full of great questions and advice of their own. To top it all off, each young person left with a new RVA Financial goodie bag 🎉

What an awesome night of learning, growth, and leveling up financially!
