Stay alert for emergency notifications and follow all instructions from emergency officials. If you receive a Ready, Set, Go notification, follow the instructions immediately.

Please do not enter the closed area unless you live there, and use extreme caution if you must travel in or out. Conditions can change quickly.

More rain is expected, and worsening conditions are possible. Please take this warning seriously and follow instructions from emergency officials.

A message from Chief Schimanski -

Thank you all for the hard work you’ve put into this fire response. From the very beginning, you stepped in and fought a really intense and fast-moving situation, and you did it with courage, focus, and professionalism.

I also want to recognize the work that came after the firefighting—especially the mop-up operations. That extra time, effort, and attention to detail is what makes a big difference, and it helped keep everyone safe and ensured the job was properly finished.

To all our support staff as well—thank you. Whether you were coordinating, preparing, assisting on the ground, or keeping things running behind the scenes, your work mattered and was deeply appreciated.

We couldn’t have done this without every single one of you. Thank you again for your dedication, teamwork, and service.
