Summer Reading Kickoff tomorrow at Rigby City Library, join the Arbor Day Event at Rigby South Park and then head straight over to the Rigby City Library to sign up for the Summer Reading Program! What a great way to kickoff summer break!

Mark your calendars! Our Summer Reading Kickoff is going to be a stomping good time! Sign ups begin on May 26th and end June 5th, but our Kickoff is a great time to do it too!

The Community Arbor Day Event is here! We have our two new beautiful trees ready to plant, 100 zucchini plant seed kits to give away, and great books to read RAIN or SHINE! Activities will be held under Shelter #5 near the Skate Park if it is raining. See you TOMORROW!! Please share with your friends!

Memorial Day is coming. Trash pickup will be delayed by one day and City Hall will be closed. Friday trash pickup will be on Saturday. Thank you!

Hello Rigby! This week, we are testing temporary City Hall extended hours which allows us to stay open later Monday through Thursday to better accommodate resident needs.

Our temporary City Hall hours this week are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. City Hall will be closed on Friday.

🌳🌱 Join Us for the City of Rigby Community Arbor Day Event! 🌱🌳

The City of Rigby is excited to invite the community to our Community Arbor Day Event on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Rigby South Park!

This special event was inspired in part by the City being awarded a 2026 Arbor Day Grant through the “Planting Idaho” Arbor Day Grant Program, offered by the Idaho Nursery and Landscape Association (INLA), in cooperation with the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL), Avista, Idaho Power, and Rocky Mountain Power. The grant will help fund new trees for our community as we continue investing in the beauty and health of Rigby’s public spaces. 🌳💚

Bring the whole family for a fun and educational morning featuring:

🌲 Tree Planting Ceremony
🧤 Community Service Project (Please bring gloves if you’d like to help with trash pick-up!)
📖 Storytime Under the Tree
🌱 Seed Planting Activity, proudly sponsored by Town & Country Gardens
