Established as “Annaville Volunteer Fire Department” in 1954, we are a combination department providing Fire Protection, EMS, and Education throughout Nueces County and various parts of Corpus Christi, Texas! Nueces County Emergency Services District No.1 (aka Annaville Fire Department), a governmental entity established and authorized through Texas Health and Safety Code 775, provides Fire and EM

S protection within Nueces County, Texas. NCESD #1 protects and serves the residents of Northwestern Nueces County. The district encompasses approximately 95 square miles. It is bordered on the north side by the Nueces River, the western boundary is County Road 79 and then runs east of Robstown and south of the Violet and Clarkwood communities then turns north at the Corpus Christi International Airport where the boundary line follows precinct lines north to Navigation Boulevard. The District is governed by a board of five Commissioners, appointed by the Nueces County Commissioner’s Court. The District operates 3 stations with a fleet of six Class A pumper tankers, three Class A squad trucks, 3 quick attack small brush trucks, 3 ALS ambulances, one utility truck, one MPV, two Boats, and three Chief trucks. ⭐️ YEARS OF SERVICE AWARDS ⭐️

This morning, two of our extremely valued members were recognized for dedicated years of service!

Captain Charles Harris was recognized for 15 years of service to this community and Annaville Fire Department. 15 years of service represents countless emergency responses, personal sacrifices, hours of training, and an enduring commitment to our mission. We are both grateful and thankful for Captain Harris’s loyalty, hard work, and for the constant example he continues to set for the next generation of firefighters. Captain Harris is assigned to Station 71 “C” Shift. 🚒

Firefighter/EMT Christopher Lopez was recognized for 3 years of service to this community and Annaville Fire Department. Assigned to Station 71 “C” Shift, Chris does an outstanding job for this community in both fire suppression and EMS. In addition to his service here at Annaville Fire Department, Chris is a proud United States Military veteran and continues to serve our nation as an active Reservist in the United States Air Force. His continued dedication to both his country and our community is a true reflection of his character and selfless service. 🇺🇸 👨‍🚒

This morning, Annaville Fire Chief Clack Michael Clack recognized them both in front of their peers to help show appreciation to their service. Well deserved, both Captain Harris and Firefighter Lopez!🫡

We would like to congratulate former Advanced EMT Student Daniel Johnson for successfully passing his National Registry Exam 🎉!! Daniel is very eager to grow in the EMS industry and his effort showed the entire duration of the course! He currently serves others while being employed with Allegiance Mobile Health. 🚑 We wish Daniel the best and hope that he continues to do big things while growing in his career. 👏 👏 Way to go, Dan!🥇

We would like to send a BIG CONGRATULATIONS 🎊to former Advanced EMT Student Brandy Garcia-Torres for successfully passing the National Registry on her very first attempt at this extremely challenging task! Brandy is no stranger to the ambulance, having served many communities in our region for quite some time as an EMT and in EMS leadership roles. We congratulate her for wanting to promote to being an ALS prehospital provider! Brandy currently serves the Aransas Pass and Ingleside citizens as a valued member of Tri-County EMS. We hope that Brandy continues to do a great job in EMS for years to come, now as a Nationally Registered AEMT 🚑 💨!!!

🎉Congratulations🎊 to former EMT Student Marisol Martinez for successfully passing the National Registry Exam! Marisol was a model student in class and did a wonderful job of keeping up with our program while tending to all of her responsibilities away from class. Marisol is a member of the United States Border Patrol 🇺🇸 where she has served in everything from being an agent to her current assignment of Mission Support Specialist. She wanted to pursue her EMT so that she can be a better person and more of an asset to her agency and community. We hope that she enjoys this accomplishment and knows how proud we are to have seen her reach this goal!

We would like to recognize former Advanced EMT course graduate Amanda Boudreaux for successfully passing the National Registry Exam on her very first attempt 🎉🥇🦸 Amanda did a super job of keeping up with the demands of this course while tending to all of her responsibilities away from class. She is a valued member of 🚑Tri-County EMS, where she serves as an important part of their team while helping protect the citizens of Aransas Pass and Ingleside, Texas. Amanda was dialed in and motivated to reach this goal from Day One, so this news comes as no surprise to those that had a chance to help her get to this point! 👏We hope that she continues doing big things in her career and we wish her the very best in all she does! Way to go, Amanda!!🏆 🚑 💨

We would like to give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS🎉to former Advanced EMT Course student Gilbert “Gil” Chapa for successfully passing the National Registry Exam on his first attempt!! Gil was a great student and we really enjoyed having him around throughout the entire program. He is always willing to listen and did his best to learn both the content and the skills involved with becoming an ALS Healthcare Provider. Gil currently serves the people of Aransas Pass, Texas, as a valued member of Aransas Pass Fire Department (APFD) 🚒. With this certification, he’ll now be able to take on a bigger role as an AEMT when helping respond to medical emergencies in their community.👏 👏 We hope that Gil takes a moment to enjoy this achievement and can’t wait to watch as he continues to do big things in his career!🧑‍🚒
