As the cold front moves into the area and interacts with the available moisture around mid-week, heavy showers are looking more likely. Therefore, the Weather Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk of excessive rainfall that could lead to flash flooding. Please have multiple ways to receive a warning.

Warm temperatures will continue through mid-week with rain chances beginning Tuesday. Our focus remains with a cold front and the uncertainty around it. Current model runs have the front stalling over Central Texas promoting a couple of rainy days the latter half of the week. If that happens, localized flooding could become a possibility.
