Today we’re celebrating our three resident corn snakes: Sunni, Kernel, and Irwin! 🌽❤️

Corn snakes are nonvenomous, native to North America, and play an important role in keeping rodent populations in check. Next time you visit the Nature Center, be sure to stop by and say hello to these slithery ambassadors!

It's almost time for National Moth Week! We are kicking it off here at CCNC with our Moth-o-palooza event on Saturday, July 18, 9-11 p.m. at Croydon Creek. We'll be using light sheets and observation tools to discover and document local moth species. The evening also includes moth crafts and a campfire gathering.
