The Mayor and Council and the City of Rockville are saddened by the passing of former Councilmember Beryl L. Feinberg, who dedicated 10 years to serving the Rockville community as a city councilmember and public servant.
Councilmember Feinberg distinguished herself through her integrity, strength, wisdom and leadership. She was recognized throughout the City of Rockville through her tireless work in bringing city government closer to the residents, balancing managed growth and preservation of open spaces and neighborhoods, and building and maintaining better relationships with our surrounding jurisdictions.
She was a careful steward of the city’s finances, spending tax dollars as wisely and efficiently as possible and always protecting the bottom line. She was a forceful and steadfast advocate for our residents, schools, parks, and public services.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew her.
