On behalf of all of our members at the Rolla Community Ambulance, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to the Belcourt Rural Fire Department and the family/friends of firefighter, Jayton Slater.

Losing a fellow first responder is always a difficult time for all of us on the front lines. It is felt through all first response agencies.

During this difficult and challenging time, we are thinking of all those that were close to Jayton. Brother, we have the tones from here. We continue to stand united as sisters and brothers in first response to serve and protect the communities we love and reside in.

To all of the Belcourt Rural Fire Department and the family of Jayton, if there is any way that we can help or provide support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Yesterday, we presented a ND EMS Association 50th year challenge coin to Art Tuomala for his dedication, commitment and founding of our service in 1973. We also presented a challenge coin to our long time employee, Richard Griffin, who is currently going into his 40th year of employment and dedication to the service and community as a Paramedic. On behalf of all of our members at Community Ambulance Service of Rolla, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the members of the Rolette Fire and Ambulance Services as well as to the friends and family of Brady Knudson.

The passing of a fellow responder and front line worker is felt throughout the community as well as the first responder family. A firefighter serves their community and puts their life on the line for others. A dedication and commitment that takes courage and bravery. We stand with you all and honor Brady and recognize the sacrifices he made as a firefighter.

During the difficult and challenging time, we are thinking of those who were close to Brady. We stand as family, brothers and sisters, united to serve and protect our community and families.

To the Rolette Fire and Ambulance Services and the family of Brady, if there is anyway that we can help or support, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
