As a reminder- city offices are closed today, June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday.

Make sure to check out the Juneteenth Community Celebration tomorrow, June 20th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at the Romulus Historical Park for a day of gathering with family and friends to remember the past, and celebrate the future. There will be local vendors, music, crafts, food trucks and fun!

WEATHER ALERT FOR ROMULUS RESIDENTS

Over the next 24 hours, the Romulus area is forecasted to experience thunderstorms with potential for high winds, hail, and heavy downpours that could lead to localized flooding.

Residents are encouraged to prepare accordingly and stay weather aware. To help reduce street flooding, please check storm drains in your neighborhood and clear away any leaves, grass clippings, or debris that may be blocking water flow.

Please note that if severe weather impacts our area, the City's chipping service will resume later this week and into next to assist with storm cleanup.

Tonight is the first Library Card Night of the summer! Guests receive free admission with a valid Michigan public library card from 4:30 to 8 PM. Children 3 and under always enter free. No reservations needed, just present the card at the admissions counter. Library Card Nights return July 15 and August 12.
