At the September 17 meeting of the SCUSD Board of Education, the Board recognized Mekhi Williams, Elizabeth Maclis, and Shyanne Love from Leataata Floyd Elementary as our Stellar Students!

In their nomination, Leataata Floyd Principal Sam Floyd wrote: "Elizabeth Maclis exemplifies dedication and academic responsibility through her careful work and focused classroom leadership. Principal Jessica Martin said she wants to model a whole new approach to dual enrollment. “It’s not about forcing kids to go to college,” Martin said. “It’s about exposing them to opportunities.”
