Today, we celebrated an incredible year at JMB and reflected on all that we accomplished together. There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and even a few tears as we wished our wonderful principal, Dr. Christel Savage, the very best as she sets sail into her new role as Director of Curriculum. Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the lasting impact you’ve made on our school community. You will be greatly missed!

JMB students had an amazing time at our Mental Health Field Day! As the school year comes to a close, it was the perfect opportunity to get outside, stay active, connect with friends, and enjoy a well-deserved break.

A special thank you to our school social worker, Ms. Horseman for all of her hard work and dedication in organizing this fantastic event. We appreciate everything she did to make the day such a success for our students!

Clipper Families,

I wanted to personally share with you that I will be leaving JMB at the end of this school year to accept the position of Director of Curriculum and Professional Learning. While I am excited for this new opportunity, it is very difficult to say goodbye to a school community that has meant so much to me.

Serving as principal of JMB has truly been one of the greatest honors of my career. I am incredibly grateful for the support, trust, and partnership that our families, students, and staff have shown throughout my time here. JMB is a special place because of the people who make up this community, and I will always cherish the relationships and memories we have built together.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your students’ journeys. Watching our students grow, succeed, and overcome challenges has been a privilege that I will never forget.

While transitions can be bittersweet, I am confident that JMB will continue to thrive. I am happy to share that Dr. Donovan has been named the next principal of JMB. Dr. Donovan is an outstanding leader and I know the school will be in excellent hands moving forward. Please check out the additional information below about Dr. Donovan.

Thank you again for your support, kindness, and dedication to JMB. This school community will always hold a special place in my heart.

Proud to be a Clipper,
Principal Savage
