🚧 District 6 Construction Update

Beginning August 16, the City of San Antonio Public Works Department will begin work along the Culebra Creek Trail, including work near Culebra Road and the Cliffbrier intersection.

If you live, work, or travel through the area, please review the notice below for more information about the project and what to expect during construction.

Please plan ahead, use caution around work crews, and keep an eye out for any temporary changes in the area. Thank you for your patience as we continue making improvements in District 6! 💙

💙 This summer, we were lucky to have two incredible District 6 residents join our team — Delilah Lopez and Ximena Ochoa!

They brought energy, compassion, and a commitment to serving the same community they call home. We’re grateful for everything they contributed to our residents and our team.

As Delilah heads back to Texas State University and Ximena continues with our office while attending St. Mary’s University, we’re excited to see what’s next for both of them.

Thank you, Delilah and Ximena, for spending your summer serving District 6! 💙

Join us for a FREE virtual information session on the City of San Antonio's Veteran Source of Income Protection Ordinance, cohosted by the City of San Antonio and the City Attorney's Office. 🏠

Veterans, veteran housing case managers, rental housing providers, and community members are invited to learn about the ordinance, passed in May 2026, and the resources available to support our veteran community.

Choose the session that works best for you (both sessions cover the same information):

💻 Tuesday, August 4 | 6–7 p.m. & Friday, August 7 | 10–11 a.m.

Each session includes:

-An overview of the ordinance
-Live Q&A with City staff
-Resources for veterans, housing case managers, and rental housing providers
-An opportunity to connect with Neighborhood & Housing Services Department (NHSD) staff

We're inviting residents, business owners, and community partners to attend the series of community listening sessions to help shape the future of this site. Your feedback will help identify the amenities, services, and opportunities that matter most to our community and will play an important role in developing the master plan presented to City Council.
