At CASA, all of our volunteers are trained and ready to advocate for any child. Although, According to research by Kyle Pruett, M.D. and Warren Farrell, Ph.D., children with a consistent, positive male influence in their life:
- Have better physical well-being
-Possess higher competency for relating with others
- Demonstrate greater ability to take initiative
- Better evidence of self-control
- Achieve more academically
- Are more likely to abstain from using drugs
The men who step up to serve as advocates provide stability, encouragement, and a powerful example of compassion in action. Their voices help ensure children in foster care are seen, heard, and supported when it matters most. Every conversation, court appearance, and act of consistency creates hope and lasting impact.
