Talk about going the extra mile!
The incredible team at SOLV Energy donated $10,000 in bicycles, helmets, and safety gear for children served by CASA and they didn’t stop there. Their team assembled the bikes, too, making sure they were ready to ride!
You won’t see the children receiving these bikes in this video. To protect their privacy and respect their experiences in foster care, we do not share photos of the children we serve. Instead, the smiling faces you see belong to their CASA Advocates. These are the volunteers who know these children personally and will have the joy of delivering these bikes to them. And that makes this gift even more special.
SOLV Energy isn’t just giving children the excitement and freedom that comes with having a bike of their own. They’re also giving our Advocates an opportunity to create a joyful memory with the children they stand beside and advocate for every day.
We are incredibly grateful to SOLV Energy for investing in the children of our community, and for giving our Advocates something pretty amazing to deliver.
