Yesterday, the UT San Antonio Police Department proudly presented the Community Partner Award to UT San Antonio's Testing Services in recognition of their outstanding partnership, dedication, and unwavering support of our department.

Their collaboration has been instrumental in our recruitment efforts and in maintaining a safe campus environment for our Roadrunner community.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership. Without their support and commitment, many of these efforts would not be possible. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact on our campus community!

Join us in congratulating PSO Supervisor Brian De Santiago, PSO Supervisor Jamie Ramirez, and PSO Elena Sloan on successfully completing the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA) Police Cyclist Course!

The addition of three IPMBA-certified cyclists further enhances our evolving security operations by providing another layer of visibility, accessibility, and engagement across our campuses. Bicycle patrols allow officers to cover areas efficiently, increase positive interactions with our campus community, and serve as a highly visible security presence that supports our overall mission of maintaining a safe and secure environment💙

We are proud of their hard work and commitment to protecting our Roadrunner community!

Today, Sergeant Eric Weber, better known as "Sgt. Sassy," had the opportunity to teach Body-Worn Camera procedures and best practices to the UT System Police Academy Class 108 cadets. As future law enforcement professionals, these cadets are learning the importance of transparency, accountability, and professionalism in every interaction.

To make the day even sweeter, Sgt. Sassy celebrated National Doughnut Day by bringing doughnuts for the cadets to enjoy after class. A little sugar goes a long way after a day of learning!

Good luck to Academy Class 108 as they continue their training and prepare for careers in public service!
