What a day. What a Big Give. What a Brighton Center community. 💙🤠

One Brighton Day brought our team together for a day of celebrating, connecting, and looking ahead. And while we were together at Pedrotti’s Ranch, our team was also showing up for Brighton Center through The Big Give, raising funds and sharing why this mission means so much to them.

Thanks to you, we didn’t just reach our $150,000 Big Give goal. We passed it! 🎉

The Big Give is officially here! 🎉💙

Starting at 6 p.m. today, our San Antonio community will come together for 24 hours to support local nonprofits and the people they serve. We're proud to be part of it, and Brighton Center is all in!

Our team is participating right alongside our community, with employees across Brighton Center raising funds, sharing their personal "why," and inviting their own friends, families, and networks to Give Big for Brighton Center.

This year, Brighton Center is working toward a $150,000 goal to help fill the funding gap and continue providing the services children and families rely on.

Your gift helps support nearly 5,000 children and families each year, including children receiving early intervention and pediatric therapy, children learning in our inclusive preschool classrooms, and families receiving education and support.

What happens when you give a child the right help at the right time? You get to see new possibilities become reality. 💙

As an early intervention occupational therapist at Brighton Center, Aleera meets children where they are, whether that’s at home, daycare, or in a foster placement, and supports them wherever they are developmentally.

Every day, she gets to witness children discover what’s possible: learning to play, moving in new ways, communicating, exploring new textures and foods, and connecting with the people who love them.

For Aleera, that’s what makes Brighton Center so meaningful.

“Here, I see those possibilities become reality.”

Sometimes, the biggest milestones are the moments that might seem small to someone else. 💙

For Megan, working in marketing at Brighton Center has given her the opportunity to witness the people behind the mission every day, from preschool teachers creating welcoming spaces to pediatric therapists helping children build new skills.

It’s also given her the chance to capture some of those moments through her camera.

A child laughing for the first time at 18 months. Climbing stairs at 3 years old. Being part of a group where they aren’t just seen, but truly included.

“These moments may seem small to some, but they can mean everything to a child and their family receiving services at Brighton.”

Because someone believed in us. ❤️

For Maria, Brighton Center isn’t just an organization she supports. It’s part of her family’s story.

When her daughter was young, Maria had questions and fears about her future. Then her family found Brighton Center.

“Brighton Center became more than just a place where my daughter received services. It became a place where I found hope.”

Through pediatric therapy, encouragement, and support, Maria watched her daughter reach milestones she once worried might never happen. Every new sound, word, attempt to climb, or new skill became a victory.

Today, Maria is giving back because she knows firsthand what that support can mean to a family.

For Tara, Brighton Center is personal in more ways than one. 💙

As a Brighton Center employee, Tara gets to see firsthand the difference our organization makes for children and families. But her connection to Brighton goes even deeper. Her two daughters attended our preschool, where they learned and played alongside children of all abilities.

Watching her girls grow in an environment where differences were embraced, friendships were formed, and every child was valued taught Tara something she carries with her today: inclusion benefits everyone.

“I’m proud to support an organization that advocates for children of all abilities and works to create a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive.”
