Brighton Center At Brighton Center, we embrace children's unique potential through specialized therapy, inclusive education, and family partnerships.

We don't just see what children can do today—we help them discover all they can become tomorrow. At Brighton Center, we don't just see children—we see their boundless potential. For over 50 years, we've been lighting the path to brighter futures for San Antonio families, celebrating every milestone and embracing every child's unique journey. What makes our hearts beat faster? Seeing a child discov

er they can succeed! That's why our approach is fundamentally different—we focus on abilities, not limitations. Every day, we witness the transformative power of "yes you can" in the eyes of nearly 4,000 children across Bexar County. Brighton Center isn't just a place—it's a community where hope and possibility flourish. Our family of almost 200 passionate specialists—therapists, educators, and advocates—share an unwavering belief: every child can shine with the right support at the right time. We walk alongside families, transforming challenges into stepping stones for growth. Parents become their child's strongest champion, equipped with tools, knowledge, and a network of support that extends far beyond our walls. Together, we're creating a world where children aren't defined by diagnoses but celebrated for their unique gifts. After all, that's the Brighton difference—here, there are only abilities.

Back-to-school season looks different for every family, and that's okay. 💙

Every child learns, grows, and reaches milestones in their own way. At Brighton Preschool, we celebrate those differences by creating an inclusive environment where every child feels supported, encouraged, and empowered to thrive.

Whether your little one is excited for their first day or needs a little extra time to adjust, remember that every journey is unique, and every step forward is worth celebrating.

As parents, it's easy to wonder if you're doing enough.

The truth? The little moments matter more than you think. 💙

In this Reel, our Occupational Therapist, Sydney, shares a few reminders she gives families every day, from why play is one of the most powerful ways children learn to why you don't need expensive toys to support your child's development.

At Brighton, we believe in meeting families where they are and helping them discover the learning opportunities that already exist in their everyday routines.

What an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and growth! 💙
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our second Brighton Center Pathways to Inclusion Conference. Together, we explored practical strategies, shared ideas, and strengthened our understanding of how to create classrooms where every child feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed.

From learning about common disabilities and accommodations to building confidence in supporting diverse learners, attendees walked away with tools they can put into practice right away.

Thank you to our speakers, attendees, and everyone who made this event a success. We loved learning alongside you and are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another conference this fall as we continue building more inclusive communities together.

Looking for a preschool this fall? 👉 Swipe for a few important questions to ask as you explore your options.

The right preschool is about more than academics. It's about finding an environment where your child feels supported, encouraged, and excited to learn.

At Brighton Preschool, children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences that help build confidence, independence, and kindergarten readiness. Our inclusive classrooms bring children of all abilities together, creating opportunities for every child to learn, grow, and thrive.
We also believe families are an essential part of a child's success, which is why partnership and communication are at the heart of everything we do.

Myth: You need the latest educational toy to help your child learn. ❌

Fact: Some of the best learning happens with the simple things you already have at home. 💙
From a bowl that becomes a pretend kitchen tool to a cardboard box that becomes a world of imagination, everyday objects can create opportunities for children to explore, problem-solve, communicate, and build new skills.

As an Early Intervention Specialist, Gabby Garcia helps families see the learning that is already happening in their everyday routines.

Because it's not about having the "perfect" toy. It's about the connection, creativity, and curiosity you build together. ✨

There's nothing more meaningful than hearing directly from the families we serve.
At Brighton, we know progress looks different for every child. That's why we're committed to providing individualized support, celebrating every milestone, and partnering with families every step of the way.

Advocacy starts with knowledge, collaboration, and the confidence to speak up for every child. 💙
This week, Juan Hernandez, Brighton Center's Director of Special Education Support Services, led Advocacy 101 for behavior specialists from Pre-K 4 SA.

The training covered the foundations of special education advocacy, including evaluations, special education paperwork, and ARD meetings, while also exploring the communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that help parents confidently advocate for their child's needs and goals.

At Brighton, we believe informed advocates create stronger outcomes for children. We're proud to share our expertise with professionals throughout our community so that more families feel supported, heard, and empowered every step of the way.

Summer regression is real. 💛

If your child has been home for a few weeks and you're noticing skills slipping — reading, attention, communication — you're not imagining it, and you're not alone.

Here's what most families don't realize: what you're seeing this summer isn't just frustrating. It's data your fall ARD team needs.

The strongest fall ARDs are built in June and July — not the night before the meeting.

This week, start simple:
📝 Jot down what you're noticing (a phone note is enough)
🤖 Ask Meet Kaz: "How do I document my child's summer regression?"
📞 Call your Brighton Center SESS consultant — we'll turn your summer notes into a stronger fall ARD

Meet Kaz gives you the information. Brighton Center SESS gives you the strategy. Together, we make sure your summer doesn't go to waste.

Meet Kaz is free through Brighton Center and takes 2 minutes to set up 👉 https://www.meetkaz.com/

We are overjoyed to celebrate this incredible Early Childhood Intervention graduation! 🎓💙

It's an honor to walk alongside families through such meaningful milestones, and watching children grow in confidence, communication, and independence is a privilege we'll never take for granted.

These words from this graduate's mom beautifully capture the journey:

"With the help of Brighton's wonderful services, our son went from sign language to thriving with full complete sentences. He loves and thanks his therapist Sammy and EIS Anadela."

Congratulations to this amazing family on this well-deserved milestone! We are also incredibly grateful for the compassion, hard work, and dedication of therapists like Sammy and Early Intervention Specialist Anadela, who make moments like these possible every day.

Thank you for allowing Brighton to be part of your journey. We can't wait to see all that's ahead for your little graduate. 💙
