In observance of Juneteenth, a day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and honoring the enduring pursuit of freedom, equity, and opportunity, THRU Project and Heart Gallery of South Central Texas offices will be closed on Friday, June 19.

As we recognize this important day in our nation's history, we encourage our community to take time to reflect, learn, and celebrate the resilience and contributions of Black Americans.

Our offices will reopen during normal business hours Monday June 22nd.

Honored to represent the Heart Gallery of South Central Texas and THRU Project today at First Baptist Church La Vernia during Foster Care Awareness Month alongside Dr. Wendy Knox, Nevetta King, and Dr. Kane Jaggers with SJRC Texas & Belong and Bill Morang with CASA of South Texas .

Thank you to First Baptist Church of La Vernia for hosting us and for helping raise awareness about the urgent need for foster and adoptive families across South Central Texas. It was wonderful connecting with community members and sharing the mission of the Heart Gallery and the importance of ensuring every child has the opportunity for permanency, love, and belonging.

Grateful for the partnerships and collaboration that continue making a positive impact for children and youth in foster care.
