For those of us who love Libby, here's some important information:

Libby and the SAPL OverDrive website now require users to enter their library card number and password. In most cases, users will only need to enter these credentials once in the Libby.

Your password is the same one you use to log in to the library website and MySAPL app.

If you cannot remember your password, reset it by following these instructions:

1.) Visit https://mysapl.bibliocommons.com/v2/browse
2.) Select the "Login / MySAPL" link in the upper righthand corner
3.) Click the “Log In / Register” button
4.) Select "Forgot your Password?"
5.) Enter your library card number
6.) The system will send you an email with a link to reset your password

⚠️IMPORTANT: If you have never logged into the MySAPL website or are unable to reset your password, please visit your nearest library for assistance.

Library staff are unable to reset or provide password information over the phone.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton. She was a bright light of humanity and grace who opened shining vistas for so many through her advocacy of literacy and her Imagination Library.
We are touched by, and grateful for Dolly Parton's admirers who have been moved to donate to the Library Foundation in her honor; our literacy programs and library advocacy continue to shine through you.

Dolly was more than an American entertainment icon. She championed access to books as a basic right and used her platform to bring attention to the importance of literacy, including here in San Antonio. Imagination Library of San Antonio

Her legacy will continue to make differences in the lives of young people and families through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

The Library Foundation is celebrating National Dog month with two of our favorite doggos of very different dispositions, Rose and Sam! We expect to be pawsitively howling with laughter when Sam's human Drew Daywalt shares tales (tails?) of Sam inspiring his book "They Call Me NO SAM!" October 4th at our Literacy Luncheon.

So great to see KSAT 12 & KSAT.com sharing some of the great resources the Library has to offer!😍

The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) is reminding students and families that a library card can unlock far more than books, including free Wi-Fi hotspots, 24/7 tutoring and online test-preparation resources. 👇 Full story at the link in the comments.

SAPLF's Literacy Caravan staff have been busy bees for weeks; preparing for back to school, assembling backpacks, supplies for young readers, and special book and classroom buddy sets for teachers. Special thanks to for school supplies and snacks for our Caravan visits; we are ready to roll!
